Anti-Slavery Statement
Last Updated: 15 August 2024
Whilst R3 Limited does not meet the financial threshold which would require an anti-slavery statement, R3 has taken the decision to voluntarily set out its position.
Overview
- Slavery, forced labour, servitude, and human trafficking are types of ‘Modern Slavery’ – criminal activity that deprives victims of their liberty and usually involves financial and other exploitation.
- We conduct our business fairly, ethically and with respect to fundamental human rights. We are committed to the prevention of all forms of Modern Slavery, both in our business and in our supply chains.
- R3 has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of Modern Slavery, and we are committed to acting in an ethical manner with integrity and transparency in all of our dealings and operations.
- We are committed to creating effective controls in place to safeguard against any form of Modern Slavery taking place within the business or our supply chain.
This statement sets out the steps that R3 undertakes to make sure that Modern Slavery and human trafficking is not taking place throughout our business or supply chain.
R3 Policies
We operate a number of policies to make sure that we are conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner. These include:
- Whistleblowing Policy – This policy informs all employees how to raise concerns about how colleagues are being treated, or practices within our business or supply chain, without fear or reprisals.
- Conflict of Interest and Business Ethics Policy – This policy sets out the manner in which R3 behaves as an organization and how we expect R3 personnel to act.
- Employee Handbook – This sets out how R3 provides an inclusive and accessible work environment where employees feel safe, respected and valued, free from bullying, harassment and discrimination.
Due Diligence Processes
- In order to identify and mitigate risk, R3 carries out sanctions, legal entity and financial checks on entities that it contracts with.
- R3 gives every employee a written employment contract, and R3 employees are paid in accordance with applicable law. We comply with our legal obligations in relation to the health and safety of all of our employees and workers, including in respect of working hours, rest breaks and holidays.
Suppliers
If you supply R3 with goods or services, you must assess your business and supply chains and confirm that you:
- Comply with legal obligations in relation to Modern Slavery, which may include providing a copy of your anti-slavery policy; and
- Are committed to ensuring there is no Modern Slavery taking place in your business, or in any of your supply chains.
If you breach this policy or are found to have Modern Slavery in your business, or knowingly in your supply chain, we may terminate our contract with you and pursue legal remedies against you.
Reporting
You must immediately report any suspicions of Modern Slavery in our business or supply chains to Compliance at [email protected]. This will be investigated and reported to our Deputy General Counsel within a reasonable time, who will advise on actions which may be required to be taken.
PLEASE NOTE: You will not suffer any detrimental treatment as a result of reporting any genuine concerns, raised in good faith, under this policy. This applies, even if after investigation, they are found to be mistaken. If you believe that you have suffered any such treatment, you should immediately tell our Compliance team and, if you are an employee, refer to our Whistleblowing Policy.
